It Security Operations Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Security Operations Engineer to implement security controls and manage security operations. This role combines security engineering with operations, covering vulnerability management, SIEM operations, incident response, and DevSecOps integration.

Responsibility

1. Monitor SIEM alerts, analyze logs, and identify security incidents Incident triage, investigation, and response coordination 2. Develop detection rules and threat hunting 3. Maintain security dashboards, metrics, and incident documentation 4. Implement and manage security controls 5. Security hardening of servers, containers, and networks 6. Configure and manage firewalls, WAF, and network security tools 7. Implement and maintain IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies 8. Application security assessments, code reviews, and SAST/DAST implementation 9. Vulnerability scanning, assessment, prioritization, and remediation tracking 10. Secure coding guidance and API security 11. Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines and automate testing 12. IaC security scanning and secret management SIEM log source onboarding 13. Monitor threat intelligence feeds and update detection rules 14. Maintain log retention, security reports, and SOPs

Requirement

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field. 2. Minimum 2-5 years in security engineering, security operations, or related roles 3. Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, cloud security (AWS/GCP), and security testing tools 4. Experience with log analysis, incident response, and security monitoring 5. SIEM platform operation (Elastic Security preferred) 6. Scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell 7. Security tools: SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners, IaC scanning 8. Cloud security (AWS/GCP) and container security 9. System hardening and network security 10. Application security (OWASP Top 10) and CI/CD pipeline integration 11. Incident investigation, threat analysis, and log correlation 12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 13. Team collaboration and continuous learning mindset
